Back from Rome Michelangelo still occupies me very much. This little work I created with the Photoshop brush tools and a 3D model of the "Roman Pieta" is a tribute to the great sculptor and painter. The original is worked in white marble. I let it shine in gold. You can also see Michelangelo's incredible feeling for proportions and his expressiveness. The portrait is derived from a portrait painted by Daniele da Volterra (around 1544).
The watermark is not printed with an order.
